Iran unveiled its latest domestically-designed air defence missile system, the Khordad 15 which is claimed to be capable of engaging six targets simultaneously.

The new air defence system is equipped with phased array radar and independent launch pads. The radar can detect both aircraft and drones up to a range of 150 kilometres and engage them at a range of 120 kilometres, with an effective ceiling of 27 kilometres according to the Tasnim news agency.

The system is also claimed to be capable of tracking stealth targets at a range of 85 km, and destroy them at a distance of 45 km.
As per the Iranian defence minister, the Khordad 15 system is paired with indigenous Sayyad-3 long-range missiles that resemble the HAWK missiles. the characteristics of the Sayyad-3 are :

The new system has already been deployed to Iranian Air Defense Forces, the news outlet stated.
