As per Air Vive Marshal AK Tiwary (Indian Air Force in Wars), a total of 34 IAf aircraft were lost to ground fire as per following details-

Notes

  1. 92 percent of all strike aircraft suffered some hit/ damage from ground fire.
  2. 40 percent of the strike aircraft suffered from own debris damage.
